“I am a 25 year old male from Saskatchewan, Canada who is an advocate of mindfulness and trying to understand how the brain works. I’ve suffered through years of anxiety, depression and self-doubt, which led me to question why I felt this way. After years of struggle, I have learned to cope with and understand mental illness quite well and hope to help inform those who are suffering.”
“I am the Beast. I am a college student majoring in business, and I also have a strong interest in writing and bird photography. I love reading (especially the classics). I also grow orchids and have two idiot cats and a dog that isn’t much better. Oh yeah, and I hear voices. They don’t bother me too much, and usually only happen at night, but other issues associated with it (like trouble concentrating) can make college and studying difficult sometimes. I write primarily about mental illness and mental health, and am very open about my official diagnosis of psychosis NOS.”
